Microsoft has also announced that it’ll partner with carriers like AT&T, Sprint or Verizon in the US, or phone makers like HP, LG, Samsung or HTC in North America, in order to launch the new Windows Mobile 6.5 devices. In Europe, the Redmond giant will work with Orange, Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, HTC, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Toshiba, while in Latin America, they’ll partner with TIM Brazil, HTC, Samsung and LG.

Also, in Asia Pacific, carriers NTT DoCoMo, Softbank Mobile Corp, SK Telecom and Telstra, plus phone makers like HTC, LG, Acer, Samsung, Toshiba and SE will play their part in the launch of the new devices. Which phones will premiere Win Mo 6.5? It might be HTC Mega, Samsung Omnia II or even Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
