The folks who downloaded and tried out the Windows Phone 7 Series developer’s tools complained that the emulator lacked some of the mobile platform’s features. To solve this issue, some guys managed to get their hands on an unlocked version of the emulator, with the full WP7S functionality.

Using this software, a walkthrough video was created, taking the users through various applications included in WP7S. The video is available here and you should know  that you can check out Zune, Office, messaging and email, plus the Internet browser in action.

We’re dealing with an early build of WP7S and we expect Microsoft to change some features before releasing the final product. This is an emulator, so by definition it doesn’t provide the same features and user experience as the mobile version of the software, so be patient.
