We’re not the ones to praise Apple for anything these days, but even the haters have got to admit that the iPhone’s mobile Safari web browser is doing a great job. Its performances deserve even more praise if you compare the iPhone’s Safari with the browser included in Windows Phone 7. Blame it on the beta?

As you can see in the video, the iPhone is facing a Samsung WP7 prototype and Apple’s gizmo loads MSN.com and NY Times much faster than the device based on Microsoft’s new mobile platform.

We’re living in a world dominated by handsets with webKit-based browsers and MS doesn’t seem to want to join this game. Will this hurt their OS adoption?
