Microsoft released a Phone Data Manager with some nifty features, meant to make life easier for handset users. The application is only in its Beta stage right now and it greatly resembles the ActiveSync found on a wide range of Nokia phone models.

The magic about this Microsoft Phone Data Manager rests in the possibility of saving all the precious information that can nowadays be found on the high amount of storage space that many handsets provide. This includes all the contacts, music, pictures and videos, which are stored on the internet or just sent to a computer for safe keeping through the application. Connectivity is set easily, through Bluetooth or through an USB cable. Another thing that many people out there will surely love is that it can also be used for devices not operating on Windows Mobile.
