Today, Xiaomi unveiled during a press event their new flagship phone called Mi Note, a decision pretty unexpected as many of us had in mind the launch of a Xiaomi Mi4s or a Mi5. However, this new phone really stands out for its flagship label.
From the information gathered straight from Xiaomi’s forums we get to know that Mi Note will be available in two different variants, one with a 5.7-inch Full HD display that brings a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz and 3 GB of RAM, and another one called Pro edition that comes with a 5.7-inch QHD panel, a Snapdragon 810 CPU, 4 GB of RAM memory and LTE Cat.9 connectivity.
Other specs found on both variants include a front-facing panel with 3D Glass, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a metallic frame, 16 or 64 GB space of internal storage, dual-SIM 4G support, Hi-Fi (24-bit/192KHz) technology and a 3.000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0.
There’s also a 4 megapixel front-facing camera with Ultrapixel technology and a 13-megapixel rear Sony sensor with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and OIS. This device weighs 161 grams and measures 155.1 mm in length, 77.6 mm in width and just 6.95 mm in thickness.
Xiaomi Mi Note will be available in black or white for a $370 price tag (16 GB), or $451 if you’re willing to spend more on the 64 GB variant. Also, the Pro variant will be sold for about $532. What do you think about this new phablet ?
