As you may know, Xiaomi is a Chinese producer that counts on several manufacturers like Foxconn or Inventec to get their devices ready for the market. In the same time, Xiaomi is the world’s 2nd largest customer of Foxconn, an ODM that has been recently contracted by Xiaomi for the manufacturing process of its new flagship device called Mi4.

According to Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, in order to release on the market a big amount of Mi4 4G devices, Foxconn’s production line needs to be expanded. In this purpose, Xiaomi invested a pretty high amount of money in new equipments.

We find out that Xiaomi’s production line has destined about 185.000 square meters from a total of 289.000 square meters (60% capacity), and that 15.505 workers and 1.944 are currently working on the assembly lines for the Xiaomi Mi4 flagship.
