Everyone is dreaming of the powerful Xiaomi Mi-Two handset, but in the meantime another Xiaomi model is performing very well. I’m talking about the Xiaomi Mi-One S, an upgrade to the original Xiaomi Mi One handset, that’s priced at 180 euro and just sold out in only 4 minutes. No less then 300.000 models were snatched in 4 minutes and 12 seconds.

The handset packs a 4 inch display, a 1.7 GHz dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM, as well as an 8 megapixel backside illuminated camera. There’s also the MIUI customization on top of Android, a selling point for some. The pricing of this model is very competitive and so is the price of the hot Mi Two, that brings a quad core CPU and 2 GB of RAM for just $315. Back to the Xiaomi Mi One S, this device measures 11.9 mm in thickness, weighs 149 grams and supports a 480 x 854 pixel resolution.

It has Gorilla Glass protection and comes with a microSD card slot, 4 GB of storage, HSDPA 14.4 Mbps connectivity and Bluetooth 2.1. The 8 megapixel camera at the back does 1080p video capture at 30 fps, while the 2 megapixel camera upfront serves for video calling. Launched in August, this is the third time that the Mi One S has a sellout!
