After a lot of leaks in the past few weeks, today Xiaomi revealed its new flagship device, the Mi4 smartphone. As expected, this one comes with the best specifications and features available on the market right now. Unfortunately, we don’t get a full metal body, just a metallic frame, while the back cover is built from plastic with a brushed aluminium texture.
Xiaomi Mi4 offers a 5-inch JDI OGS Full HD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, 3 GB of RAM, 16 or 64 GB of storage, a 13-megapixel main camera, a 8-megapixel front-facing camera perfect for selfie captures and a 3.080 mAh battery that will have a quick-charge mode.
Also, with this product we’ll get the MIUI V6 custom interface that will be officially released on the market on August 16. Among other features included by Xiaomi for this new phone are the customized back panels that comes in a lot of textures as you can see below. We find out that the 16 GB version of the Xiaomi Mi4 will have a $322 price tag on the market, while the 64 GB model will have a $400 price tag.
