Even if Xiaomi already announced the Redmi 2 smartphone a while ago, the company was still waiting the certification from TENAA, the Chinese equivalent to FCC, document that gets revealed today. This thing means that the phone will be soon available in stores.
As we already know, Xiaomi Redmi 2 brings us a 4.7-inch HD IPS LCD display with a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz (64-bit), 1 or 2 GB of RAM memory, 8 or 16 GB space of internal storage, and a microSD card slot up to 32 GB.
Next we have a 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash a 2-megapixel front-facing unit, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a microUSB v2.0 port and Android 4.4.4 KitKat with the MIUI 6.0 custom interface applied on top.
Also, there’s a Li-polymer 2.200 mAh battery that arrives with a quick charging technology that offers 30% in just 30 minutes of charging. Xiaomi Redmi 2 is available in black, white, yellow, pink and green for a $150 price tag.
