The Xiaomi Redmi 3 has just been listed by TENAA, complete with its full hardware specs, that are detailed below. This is a midranger, that’s also pictured courtesy of the fresh listing.
Available in silver, gray and gold, this model measures 8.5 mm in thickness and weighs 143 grams. It operates in quite a few bands, going from 900 MHz and 1800 MHz to 2 GHz, Band 38, Band 39, Band 40 and 41. The phone does GSM, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, FDD LTE and WCDMA, as well as CDMA 2000. It’s a bit on the small side, with a 5 inch 720p screen in the mix.
We don’t have any pricing and the CPU inside is pretty much a mystery, but we do know it’s an octa core affair at 1.5 GHz. It’s probably a Snapdragon, maybe the S615 or a newer version from the same series. 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage are also here, plus Android 5.1.1 as the OS and an 8 megapixel back shooter. Selfie lovers will resort to a 5 MP camera.
