Xiaomi Redmi 4 has leaked again and it’s one of the few models that Xiaomi plans to launch for the rest of the year. It’s supposed to follow the Redmi 3X and 3S models launched in China and a working prototype of the Redmi 4 has leaked already.
The presumed Redmi 4 seems to feature a pretty bulky metal body and a 2.5D glass panel upfront. We also have dual speakers at the bottom and Redmi 4 packs an octa core processor clocked at 2 GHz, probably the Helio P10. 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage are here, as well as Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top. The new Redmi is expected to be a budget model, but one taking the concept to a new level.
For example you should know that the midrangers with the Helio P10 CPU have a couple of hundred bucks price right now, so placing it inside the $106 Redmi 4 would be fantastic. Add a massive battery and a 13 MP camera that’s at least half decent and you’ve got a new hit.
