Xiaomi is preparing to debut the Redmi Mi Note 2 Pro, as well as the Mi 5 handset soon and today we’re reminded that November 24th is the date to look at. It’s the date when Xiaomi has a conference scheduled, it seems. A Xiaomi official posted on Weibo the following teaser picture with the device’s back:

Mi Note 2 Pro was leaked before, with a cutout for the back camera and the fingerprint scanner below it. We’ve got rumors saying it will be priced at $158 and the handset has already been certified by TENAA. When the certification popped up a few days ago we also got to see the metal case of the handset and its general design format.

It’s a 5.5 incher with a Full HD panel, an octa core MediaTek MT6795 processor (Helio X10), 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. AT the back there’s a 13 MP camera and upfront a 5 MP selfie shooter. The edges are rounded at the top and bottom and somehow this feels like a mini iPad, rather than an iPhone clone.
