As you may know, tomorrow on July 22, Xiaomi will officially announce their new flagship smartphone called Mi4, this product being the main attraction. Yet, if we take a look in the past, we noticed that the Xiaomi’s CEO has showed up in a photo with a smartband fitness tracker at his wrist, a portable device that could be launched in the event tomorrow. According to some rumors, the price of this smartband could be around $99. There’s also an opportunity that tomorrow we’ll see some new other smartphone devices, like the 4G version of the popular Red Rice Note phablet that has been sold in million of units since the launch.

Among with the hardware products, we’ll see the new Xiaomi’s custom interface called MIUI V6. This new UI will use a flat design style for the icons, and as you can see in the pictures below, the icons used looks very similar to the ones seen on the Mi Pad tablet. MIUI V6 will be based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and will offer a simple and more intuitive way of interaction with the device.

Getting to the main attraction, the Xiaomi Mi4, a device that has been seen in a lot of press renders and leaks in the last couple of weeks, we found out that even if some teasers suggest the fact that the phone will have an aluminium case, it seems that it won’t be the case. Xiaomi Mi4 will use a plastic material that will offer a brushed aluminium texture.

Xiaomi Mi4 will come with a 5-inch Ful HD display (1.920 x 1.080 pixels), a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 4G-LTE, a 13-megapixel main camera with a f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3.000 mAh battery. According to some sources from the industry, Xiaomi Mi4 will arrive on the market at a $322 price tag.
