The Indian producer XOLO announced today a new smartphone device designed for gaming purposes. This phone is called Play 8X-1200, runs Android 4.4 Kitkat and comes on the market after the release of the 8X-1000, an octa-core smartphone that packs pretty high-end specs.
XOLO Play 8X-1200 offers a 5-inch Full HD display (441 ppi), a true octa-core MediaTek MT6592T processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, a Mali 450 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a 13-megapixel camera PureCel sensor with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a BSI sensor.
On the connectivity side we get 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, GPS and two SIM slots. There’s also a 2.300 mAh battery that offers up to 11.7 hours of talk time and up to 547 hours of standby time in 3G. Unfortunately, we don’t have a microSD card slot in the package. Regarding the design, this phone imitates a little bit iPhone. Is expected that Play 8X-1200 to arrive on the market at a $327 price tag.
