As you may know, among the popular smartphone manufacturers from India we also have Xolo, producer that today announced a new smartphone device that comes with something extra beside hardware specs – a fingerprint scanner. This phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is called Xolo Q2100.
Xolo Q2100 offers a 5.5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, a Mali 400-MP2 GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot up to 32 GB, a 8-megapixel main camera with Exmor R sensor and dual-LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
We also get dual-SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, an IR blaster, FM Radio and a 2.800 mAh battery. The fingerprint scanner found on the back of the smartphone allows users to unlock the phone with just a swipe gesture. We’ll be able to configure up to 3 fingers for this operation. Xolo Q2100 is available in black or white for a $219 price tag.
