XOLO is one of the big Indian phone makers, that is prepared to release a new budget Android smartphone, the XOLO One. The new handset has been listed on the company’s website and it’s expected to be on sale over the next days.
It will be priced at $107, according to the info we have. XOLO One packs a 4.5 inch 854 x 480 pixel IPS display, a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6528M processor, 1 GB of RAM and a 1700 mAh battery. There’s a 5 MP back camera, VGA front shooter, Android 4.4.2 as the OS and 3G connectivity. This one is a dual SIM phone, with 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, as well as GPS.
As far as design goes, the handset includes a leather finish on the back and it will be offered in white, brown, black and red. Interestingly enough, XOLO promotes this phone as upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop, but without a clear time frame. Also interestingly, in spite of the One name, this model doesn’t take part in the Android One initiative.
