Although last we heard, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 wasn’t able to support multitouch, because of hardware limitations, it turns out that the feature is available on the smartphone after all. We have the video proof of this feature working, apparently through an upgrade that will come in September.
Take the info with a grain of salt and if you’re not willing to watch the whole clip, feel free to jump to 6:50, up to 7:00, with those 10 seconds showing multitouch action in Google Maps. Will this be an upgrade included in Android 2.2 aka Froyo, or a separate update specially for the handset?
