It appears that the LG G4 has inspired other handset makers to come up with leather covers for their handsets. For example Indian firm Yu has introduced a leather back cover for its Yuphoria handset, available on Amazon India at $7.
It’s important to remember that the LG G4 didn’t start the leather back phone trend, but rather Motorola with its customized leather versions of the Moto X. Back to the Yuphoria, Yu claims that its new back is made of nappa leather and its easily around the camera “saturn ring”. The speaker section is also enhanced with this cover, for improved sound quality.
The back cover is compatible with the Yuphone YU5010 model, being only available in brown for now. Amazon India offers free delivery for the accessory and also promises one day delivery if the cover is ordered in a few hours after it was placed on sale. For those interested, the Yuphoria phone comes with stereo acoustics, a full metal design, a 5 inch HD screen and Snapdragon 410 CPU.
