ZTE means business, when it comes to preparing their next hotshot of a phone. We’re talking about the ZTE Axon 7, that just leaked and it seems to feature both a huge screen and a dual camera. This is also a Nougat-based handset, the kind of which we don’t see many nowadays.
The ZTE Axon series has grown quite a bit over the years, including the likes of ZTE Axon, Axon Mini and Axon Max. This year brought us the Axon 7 and Axon 7 Mini, so it’s time to wait for the Max. Last year the Max was a 6 incher, a trend also kept in 2016 and the device also gets the same Full HD resolution. The back side is what interests us the most, since it features a dual camera with laser focus, plus a fingerprint scanner below it.
ZTE Axon 7 Max seems to have a curved glass panel upfront and it’s based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, as well as 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It runs on Android Nougat, all covered up with ZTE’s MiFavor 4.0 UI. We have no idea what the battery capacity is here, but since the 2015 model had a 4140 mAh battery, we expect at least the same, plus quick charge.
Too bad that the stereo speakers and beautiful speaker grille design are gone…
