A while ago, the Chinese company ZTE arrived in US with Axon, a first phone from a series that was going to wear this name and to offer high-end specs. From what it seems, the Axon brand is now available on the Chinese market too, country where ZTE just announced 3 new devices from this range.
The first device announced is Axon Lux, a more premium edition of the regular Axon. This phone brings in the package a fingerprint scanner placed on the back right below the rear dual-camera. Beside this introduction, Axon Lux comes with a leather-like material on the back, giving a more premium look.
When it comes to specs, there’s a 5.5 inch Quad HD display, 128 GB space of internal storage, microSD card slot and 4 GB of RAM memory. ZTE will also sell a Full HD variant of this phone that brings 3 GB of RAM memory and just 32 GB space of internal storage. (Axon Lux – $625 / Axon – $435)
ZTE announced in the same time the Axon Mini, a 5.2 inch device that might look similar to the actual 5.5 inch phablet. Axon Watch was also on the list, a portable device with circular 1.4 inch AMOLED display that offers a 400 x 400 pixels resolution, a heart rate monitor, GPS and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity. There’s 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage.
