A new ZTE phone has been certified by the FCC recently, the ZTE B2017G model, that’s pictured below. This is supposed to be the ZTE Axon 7 Mini and it got the certification on September 21st.

It comes with FDD/TD LTE support, WCDMA and more support for connectivity options. It also got certified for use on WiFi and NFC, as well as Bluetooth. ZTE Axon 7 Mini is also coming to the global market, not only the US one and it brings a 16 megapixel back camera, 3 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, plus a 2705 mAh battery.

Seeing a “mini” model with a 5.2 inch screen is kind of strange, but that’s how ZTE rolls these days. The model has a 2.5D curved glass panel upfront, metal case and it runs Android 6.0.1. The selling point is the set of stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos tech and active noise cancellation.
