China’s most important global telecom equipment maker, ZTE has just launched its very first Android phone, the X850 model. Said handset is pictured below and we learn that it’s powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 chip and runs Android 2.1. There’s also 3D acceleration supported on the device and more features you’ll learn after the break.
ZTE X850 comes with a 2.8 inch resistive touchscreen display, with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution, 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. There’s also a 3.2 megapixel camera on board, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio and support for WCDMA audio. The handset goes for $173 and it’ll be available on China Unicom.
