Two of the most interesting handsets of the year end, the ZTE Nubia Z5 and Baidu Cloud Phone are supposed to launch today, during special events. These are both Chinese handsets, with pretty interesting specs and special features.
ZTE Nubia Z5 is a 5 inch Full HD phone with a quad core 1.5 GHz processor, a 13 megapixel camera and 2 GB of RAM. It’s also a pretty thin device, at merely 7.6 mm in waistline. The other model is the Baidu Cloud Phone, that uses the company’s own platform and special applications, based on an Android core experience. The newcomer has an affordable price tag and the specs are adapted to that, with a 4.5 inch qHD display included and a 1.2 GHz dual core CPU as well.
Baidu Cloud Phone will come in 3 colors: black, white and red and it will also have a 5 megapixel camera, dual SIM connectivity apparently and other goodies. The Nubia Z5 1920 x 1080 screen makes this device one of the handful of models with this feature launched this year, including the HTC Butterfly and Droid DNA. Additional data like pricing and store launch will come in a few hours!
