We knew that ZTE was prepping an announcement for May 26th, judging by the teaser posted below, but today we also uncover what exactly that teaser may involve. I’m talking about the ZTE Axon 7, that that recently got certified by TENAA.
The handset is also known as the ZTE A2017 and it runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, plus it has a quad core CPU clocked at 2 GHz (possibly the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 even). It integrates a 5.5 inch Quad HD AMOLED screen, plus a 20 megapixel back camera and a front 8 MP shooter. There’s also LTE connectivity, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, so this sounds a bit like a powerhouse.
Inside we find a 3140 mAh battery and the rear also brings a fingerprint scanner, as clearly shown by the official renders. This model is also expected to come to USA, taking into account the fact that the previous Axon units also did. We’ve only seen the gold colored version, but we expect more versions to appear.
