Long Zheng, from iStartedSomething has just found some fresh info regarding the supposed Zune Phone, that should be launched this year. Apparently, the latest Zune desktop software update includes some code lines that mention the device.

The .inf file of the update include the codes and there are 3 hardware Product IDs usually associated with phones, aside from the three Zune player versions available now. Judging all the rumours we’ve heard so far, we should expect three types of handsets from Microsoft, or at least three platforms: Zune Phone (Project Pink), Windows Seven Business Edition and Windows Seven Media Edition.

We’re really curious to find out what platform the Zune Phone will rely on, specially since it’s rumoured to support Xbox gaming.
